Kemnal is a popular, oversubscribed, 11-18 boys’ comprehensive school (with a mixed sixth form) in the Londion Borough of Bromley. We have a clear focus on academic achievement. There is an insistence on high standards underpinned by rigorous monitoring of both teaching and learning. As a Technology College, the latest ICT and Technology innovations are used to inspire the next generation of learners. An appropriate element of competition gives a sharper focus to most aspects of college life. This has resulted in a steep rise in examination success, which has led to the College being one of the most improved schools in the country. Kemnal has been described as ‘Outstanding’ in its most recent Ofsted Inspection.
As a high performing Technology College, Kemnal now has a second specialism as a Training College. This has allowed Kemnal to support schools nationally and will allow us to train and support new teachers. The main objective is to give our students an education, which meets their needs and that of the wider community. We aim to be a college that supports learners of all ages in a safe and supportive environment, where innovation is nurtured and where high standards are expected.
