GTP Training Position
Applications are invited for a GTP training position in the Maths department commencing September 2012. The university provider will be London South Bank and the successful applicant will need to be able to travel to that site regularly during the training year. Qualification requirements: an honours degree class 2.2 or above, preferably in maths, or if in an alternative subject you must be able to demonstrate the required depth and breadth of subject knowledge, GCSE or equivalent in maths and English. Candidates should have recent and up to date experience in schools either through their current employment or visits and observations.
Interviews will take place in school during February and March when candidates will be required to teach a 30 minute lesson to a key stage 3 group on a topic given to them beforehand.
